color psychology white

When thinking about peace doves, flags of truce, snow and wedding dresses – White symbolizes peace, innocence and virginity. Something that hasn’t been touched yet, something very pure, bright and clean – this is stand for the meaning of the color white.

Actually in the past it used to signalize the social estate of the person who was wearing white.
The ladies back than who were able to wear white dresses didn’t need to do any work – the cleaning of white was a difficult and expensive process.
So they must have had enough servants to do all work for them.

Every color looks brighter and shinier combined with white. White can’t clash with any color – it fits to everything.
In summer bright colors set a good mood combined with white – like fire-red, cyan, or an intense shade of green.
