The Las Vegas Premium outlet south may just be one of the many other famous attractions you can find in Las Vegas. For serious shoppers gambling on outlet level discounts however this mall has a very good chance of hitting jackpot! This guide covers the Las Vegas outlet south which has 140 shops. You can find mainly American and high street brands in this center, there are also some homeware and kitchen shops available.

Directions to the Las Vegas Outlet – South

This outlet is close to the famous strip, just 2.5 miles south on I-15. In case you want to get there with a GPS  just use the following address:

By car from the Las Vegas strip follow Las Vegas Boulevard south to Warm Springs Rd. From other locations take I-15 to Blue Diamond Interchange.

You can also take the RTC buses, Strip & Downtown Express (from the strip hotels) as well as line 117 (from South Point Hotel) and 217 (from Silverton Casino).  The fare is 2$ one way or $8 for a 24h pass. For shoppers arriving by plane the closest Airports is Las Vegas McCarran Airport. In case you want to take a taxi be aware that there is a 1.80$ exit fee on top of the normal cab charge. For public transport from the airport go to the RTC stop at terminal 1, level zero. Use line 109 South from the airport and switch to line 117 at the South Strip Transfer Terminal. Bus line 117 takes you directly to the South Las Vegas Outlets.

You can shop at the center Mon. to Sat. from 10 am to 09 pm, Sundays from 10 am to 08 pm. For the After-Thanksgiving Weekend event you shop from midnight onwards, on other public holidays the center closes on 7pm already. Consult the homepage for sales in the various stores  during the year. Big, center wide sales events are typically during the end of season sales in February and August. Even though the outlet will be even more crowded you can get great discounts so it is well worth the trouble. Just come early to beat the rush!

There are also sales on Labor Day and Thanksgiving day and after the Christmas Holidays. The outlet homepage lists the special events as well as the all year promotions in the brand shops.

A wide array of options is available for your culinary needs. The center offers fast-food chains like Burger King or Subway as well as Pretzels, Chinese, Italian and Cheesesteaks. For people craving sweeter things you have Dunkin Donuts and ice cream shops.

Please note that there is neither child-minding service nor playgrounds available at this Las Vegas outlet. There is a carousel and a Toys”R”Us Outlet at the center though so you might find something to play after all.

  • Shoppers over the age of 50 can save an extra 10% every Tuesday by simply presenting their ID  at the cashpoint. The outlet center information (in the foodcourt) can help you to fing out which stores participate in this offer.
  • Consider joining their The VIP Shopper Club especially you plan to come back to the Las Vegas Outlet South or want to visit more Premium outlets
  • For shoppers without a car to store their purchases there are lockers available close to the management office located next to Suite 50A (Motherhood Maternity)
  • International travelers should consider getting their VAT back when they leave the country. Make sure to get the VAT refund forms stamped before you leave!
