The outlet is on the highway 3 (Autobahn 3, A3) between Frankfurt and Nuremberg, the exit is Wertheim. After the exit just follow the signs or, in case you want to use the GPS just use the follwing address:
The Center is very close to the highway so taking a car is also the best way of getting there. Alternatively you can also take the train to Wertheim but then you need to take a bus or taxi as the outlet is not close to the city of Wertheim. As yet another alternative you can take one of the shuttle busses going from Wertheim. For shoppers coming from out of Europe the best bet is Frankfurt airport (FRA) and taking a rental car from there.
Parking is situated around the shops so with a little planning using the floorplan you can reduce the number of bags you need to carry around on your shopping trip. This Frankfurt outlet center does not have a dedicated food court, there are some restaurants and fast food shops available though. You can also stop at the McDonalds o the way to or from the outlet
Special Sales are available all year but the summer and winter closing sales are still the biggest and most popular sales in Germany. If you are flexible when to go you should aim at either end of January / beginning of February or end of July / beginning of August to catch the mentioned end of season sales. All sales are listed on the homepage.
Shopping Tips for the Frankfurt outlet in Wertheim village
Frankfurt with a very central location in Germany is an ideal place to combine a trip to Germany with a nice shopping experience. As the Frankfurt airport is one of the biggest airports in Europe you can take the last day of your trip to brand up in some of the Frankfurt outlets.
Overall Wertheim Village is a very nice outlet center with some brands you do not have in other outlets in central Europe (like Versace). For a better variety of brands and lower prices (especially for Hugo Boss) however you should go to Metzingen which is only 2 hours away by car. If you are in the area anyway or only have limited time on your stopover in Frankfurt it is still one of the best shopping choices in the area!
The Autobahn A-3 from the airport to Wertheim has no speed limit for most of the time and especially the part from Frankfurt to Seeligenstadt has three lanes and not many curves. This is a nice opportunity for some adrenaline rush before shopping so better treat yourself to an upgrade when selecting that rental car… Most cars in the upper categories should do up to 155 miles per hour.
There is a chocolate factory outside of the mall when you go from the autobahn so you can splurge on more than clothes.
