Prada outlets offer 30% – 50% discounts on previous seasons.

Prada outlet stores are usually part of bigger outlet villages. The stores are considered anchor stores for the respective outlet and can be quite crowded especially during the weekends. Exceptions to the outlet villages are the Prada Space outlets in Italy and Hong Kong which are standalone stores.

In terms of discount level the Prada outlets will offer around 30%. Do not expect sales of 50% or more as can be found with other brands. There are of course exceptions for special occasions (end of season sales) or for clearance stock in the outlets. The clearance stock is sometimes hidden to the back of the store so it pays to look closely through the whole store.

Some items like cuff-links are not always on display at all, in case you are looking for something specific do not hesitate to ask the outlet staff.

Prada outlet stores in Japan / Asia

Asia is one of the most important markets for Prada.  Since 2011 the company is also listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

In Japan you can find Prada outlets in the metropolitan Tokyo region (2 locations) and close to Osaka.

The Prada outlet in China is close to Beijing, for the southern Chinese regions you can also see the Prada outlet in Hong Kong.

American Prada outlets

The Prada outlets in the United States are in Florida, California, Texas and close to New York. Other major cities with an outlet close by are Miami, Orlando, Austin, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Apart from the outlets you can also find two of the Prada flagship epicenters in the USA. The specially designed stores are worth a visit, you can find them in Los Angeles (Beverly Hills) and New York (Broadway)

Prada Outlets in Europe

Prada shoppers in Europe should head to Italy! Especially the area around Florence (Firenze) is a Prada outlet heaven with 4 outlets within 50 Km. There are 3 more outlets in Italy making the total number 7 outlets - more than in any other region in the world.

Other regions in Europe with a Prada outlet include Paris, Vienna / Bratislava, London, south Germany (Metzingen) and Roermond in south Netherlands.

Prada does have a webshop which covers mainly Europe, United States, Japan, China. Outside of special occasions the shop does not have a regular sales section. The physical outlets are the only regular source for Prada sales at the moment.

Please be very cautious about web pages selling Prada items at a huge discount. Unless you are looking at a huge department store or online retailer (like net-a-porter) large discounts are a sign that the site is not legit.

To check if an item is genuine Prada please look for the following counterfeit signs:

• The "R" in Prada does not have a full right line. Any logo on your item that has a normal R in it should make you suspicious.
• The inside lining should repeatedly list the Prada name in horizontal alignment
• The exact wording of the manufacturer should be "Prada Made in Italy"
• There should be an authenticity card coming in a black envelope. The card lists the Prada serial number.
