Day 32 of my pear shaped 365 style challenge

Day 32 of my pear shaped 365 style challenge

To have the look of long and lean legs, I often avoid rolled up Jeans. Rolled up jeans on a pear shaped body are not the best choice. I never rolled my pant legs up with boot cut jeans, but I tried today. (By the way, here is a nice guide on how to roll them up: http://advicefromatwentysomething.com/the-proper-way-to-roll-your-jeans/ )

Wearing rolled up jeans on a pear shaped body

So, but cut jeans, here we go. I tried a version where you cannot see the ankles, and then I tried a version showing some skin. I like the version with the skin much better. Since I have small ankles, this gives an overall impression of an overall thinness.

Rolling up pant legs when the jeans are too short

I must admit that I rolled the pant legs because they are too short. On the one side, I never liked those jeans enough to invest the money for a tailor to have them altered. On the other side, there was something I liked about the fit – enough not to give them away. When I looked at the pictures, I thought it is time to decide. Keep them and get them tailored – or give them away. I decided to give them to my mum. She is smaller than me and has a different body shape, so they will fit her even better than me. She loves to wear my clothes and looks great in them.
